The visual editor includes 3 different modes. These are non-technical mode, designer mode and developer mode.
Non-technical mode allows you to quickly create pages add components from the site and library and edit the content easily.
Designer mode gives you access to more advanced styling features.
Developer mode has access to Monaco code editor which can be combined with the visual editor to edit existing content.
